Welcome Ms. Garrett!

It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Mrs. Oluwatoyin Garrett, our new Grade 6 Math/Science Teacher. Please welcome her as our newest Y.I.S. teacher.

As the hiring principal it was my privilege to consider 15 candidates for the position. Following a review of credentials, transcripts and experience histories, I conducted interviews for four days and offered the position to Mrs. Garrett as the most qualified candidate.

I was very happy that she accepted and that she will begin her new duties immediately.

Ms. Garrett is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Education Degree. She also has a Master of Education Degree and an American teaching credential. She has taught in three elementary schools for a total of nine years.

We have been happy to get to know her as a volunteer and substitute in our classes this year, and even happier that she is our newest teacher.
