Welcome to the STUCO page!

The Yanbu International School Student Council (STUCO) is a student body comprised of students committed to the welfare of the school community. This student body is presided over by our enthusiastic advisor, Mrs. Samira Sidani. In addition, STUCO has been set up with a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, ‘Tech Guy’, and Class Representatives. Each class section has one representative, 14 in total.
STUCO is committed to provide students with the entertainment needs that they request. Of course, our capabilities are limited; however, as a student body, we are trying our hardest to obligate ourselves to this purpose. In addition, we represent the student population as a legal voice for in cases in which the students’ comments, concerns, and suggestions may be conveyed to the school administration. No, we do not have the power to allow rebellious rampage, nor do we have the authority to give students the permission to use cell phones in class. However, we can suggest. Our commitment is futile without the support of the students.
Along with this webpage we also have a Wordpress blog and a Facebook group  for those who wish to communicate directly with the members of the STUCO.
