Faculty and staff at YIS

The staff of Yanbu International School is highly qualified and experienced in teaching in their respective subjects; the majority are sponsored from the United States and Canada. New teachers are mentored through an orientation at the beginning of their career at YIS, and ongoing support for all teachers is provided through staff development opportunities at overseas conferences, regular inservice, and an evaluation program. Teachers work together to develop integrated lessons whenever possible. Staff members also sit on committees to assist in school and district planning.
